Ascension Poster

The Ascension story  describes Jesus' bodily return to heaven 40 days after his resurrection, witnessed by his disciples from the Mount of Olives near Jerusalem; as he blessed them and rose into a cloud, two angels appeared, promising he would return in the same way, marking his enthronement at God's right hand and the promise of the Holy Spirit. Key biblical accounts are found in Luke 24 and Acts 1.
